Southend Community Matters is a registered charity based in Southend-on-Sea, Essex. We are dedicated to improving the lives of local residents through community-led projects and collaboration.
Working alongside volunteers, partner organisations, and residents, our projects aim to tackle social isolation, support vulnerable people and promote community safety and wellbeing.
Currently, we are pleased to be supporting residents and community partners to ensure local people stay informed and have a say in the Better Queensway project.
Over the summer we were delighted to support residents and partners with the Queensway Art Jam. Residents and partners took part in creative workshops to develop ideas. These were facilitated by our brilliant artist Ed (@ed209) the ideas were used on 'paint day' to add a splash of colour to the estate. Well done to all involved!
