Did you know Queensway Resident Group meet regularly to dicuss everything Queensway? There’s a regular coffee morning on the 1st and 3rd Thursday each month 9.30am – 11.00am at Storehouse.  Come along, meet new friends and share your ideas.  The group also meets on the last Tuesday of each month 6pm – 7.30pm also at Storehouse.  These meetings are attended by Queensway residents, staff from South essex Homes, local community groups and City Councillors.

The coffee mornings provide a welcoming environment for casual conversation, friendship, and support, while resident meetings give everyone a voice in shaping the future of the estate. Together, they strengthen community connections, build trust, and encourage positive involvement. All residents are welcome—come along, have your say, and enjoy a cuppa with your community.  Meetings are open to all including those living in Sutton Road, Barringtons and Nicholson House.
