Our community partners at South Essex Homes want to share their message about building safety and it’s never too early to start learning about hazards in the home!  Their competition, sponsored by Blake Fire and Security Systems, is open to two age groups: 5–10 and 11–16. It asks participants to identify hazards in the home, and there’s also a second part where they can design a poster that will be displayed in our tower blocks.

There are four prizes of £50 gift cards (winner’s choice)

• Send your entry by 6th April 2026 in one of these ways:
• Post it to: Resident Engagement Team, South Essex Homes Ltd, Civic Centre – 3rd Floor, Victoria Avenue, Southend-on-Sea, Essex, SS2 6FY
• Hand deliver it to: reception at the Civic Centre, in a sealed envelope addressed to the Resident Engagement Team at South Essex Homes
• Email it to: residentengagement@seh.southend.gov.uk – and remember to include your details in the email.
