Thanks to funding from Essex Community Foundation in April 2025 we began working with residents on the Queensway Estate, Southend.  This is designed to bring residents together, amplify local voices, and create positive change. 

Through a mix of resident-led activities, workshops, and social events, we aim to build stronger connections and empower people to shape the future of their neighbourhood. Community gardening, art, youth projects, cultural celebrations, and tenant meetings are all ideas being discussed.

Working alongside our local partners, we will ensure that residents have a real say in developing projects.  Together, we can create a more vibrant, inclusive and resilient Queensway community.

Get Involved Queensway!

If you live on Queensway we want your ideas and suggestions to help us shape future projects. Please complete our short survey CLICK HERE to visit the survey. Everything we do will be driven by you, your voice is really important and will really make a difference.  This survey should only take a few minutes.

Queensway Coffee Morning

The Queensway coffee morning is a warm and welcoming space for residents to connect, chat, and build friendships.  Hosted by the local residents' group, the coffee morning takes place on the 1st and 3rd Thursday each month 9.30-11am and is open to everyone living on Queensway.

Whether you’re new to the area or have lived here for years it's a great opportunity to share ideas, and find out what’s happening locally.

Be part of something positive, have your say on local matters and contribute to making our neighbourhood stronger. Come along, pull up a chair and be part of the conversation!
