About Us
Our aim is to empower people to build connections and strengthen their neighbourhoods. We use a collaborative approach to ensure that local voices shape outcomes. We want to build strong partnerships linking residents, local authority, housing providers local charities and more.
Southend Community Matters is a collaboration between, local residents, Southend City Council, ATF and South Essex Homes.
Creating an environment where people identify their own needs, plan, lead, deliver and measure their own programmes ensure communities foster self-help, are capable and have opportunities to address and resolve their own issues.
